Dr. Rai underwent basic medical training at LTMMC, Sion, Mumbai. This was followed by a Masters Degree in Ophthalmology from MR Medical College, Gulbarga. After his basic training in Ophthalmology, Dr. Rai completed a fellowship at the prestigious Schell Eye Hospital, CMC, Vellore, under the tutelage of the renowned Prof. Ravi Thomas.
Dr. Rai is at present focused on Refractive Lasik and Refractive Cataract Surgery. With the help of cutting-edge technology he has been in the forefront in using toric and multifocal intraocular lenses (IOL). Dr Rai’s quest for learning the latest in eye care sees him frequenting Ophthalmic conferences in India and around the world.
